I don’t quite understand what Google is doing. But to me it appears that they are removing domains which are deleted (i.e. expired) from their index, causing them to appear orange with my scanning tool. That’s not to say that they are fake. But neither can I grantee that they will be Valid or keep their PR once re-indexed.
Although, I have a theory. Once you register one of these domains and get it indexed by google then the pagerank is restored. And for that I shall write an article on how to get indexed quickly by google.

I absolutely love this website, and just posted to make a comment about page rank restoration …
I bought a domain here a couple of months ago from a domain listed on one of your older lists. It was a PR2. I set it up and used it to make some trades. After about 10-14 days, the domain’s PR completely disappears (PR N/A). After 8-10 more days, the original pagerank was restored, and it is now a PR2 again. And yes again, this was a domain purchased from this very site.
Just some food for thought.
